Updates

What's new.

Every release of HKTweaks and our bots — the apps update themselves, this is what changed.

HKTweaks v5.8.07 October 2026

A brand-new home page

  • +New home page: a clear dashboard with your rank, an optimization score and everything one click away
  • +Optimization score: see how many risk-free tweaks of your rank are applied — "Optimize now" applies the rest in 2 clicks
  • +Live CPU, RAM and uptime right on the home page
  • +Quick access to every page (Optimizations, Games, Network, Debloat, Cleaner, Drivers, BIOS, Fix it) — locked ones are marked
HKTweaks v5.7.15 October 2026

Pure-black taskbar

  • +The "HKTweaks Black" visual preset (Profiles) now makes the taskbar and Start menu pure black — the same look as HKTweaks OS
  • ~"Revert" on the preset puts your previous accent colour and transparency back exactly
HKTweaks v5.7.03 October 2026

Heiko Optimizer is now HKTweaks

  • !The app is now called HKTweaks — same app, same ranks, your tweaks and settings are kept
  • +New name everywhere: window, Start menu, tray, Windows apps list
  • +New HKTweaks wallpaper (HKTweaks look) and the new Discord link: discord.gg/hktweaks
  • !The Discord bots moved to new accounts: log in with Discord once more when the app asks
HKTweaks v5.6.12 October 2026

Real game logos

  • +The Games page and "Your games" on the home page now show the real logo of each game (VALORANT, Fortnite, CS2, Apex…) instead of a letter
  • +A game you add yourself shows the icon of its own .exe
HKTweaks v5.6.02 October 2026

No transparency, no animations

  • +Optimizing now also turns off Windows transparency and animation effects (Settings › Accessibility › Visual effects) — menus and windows open instantly
  • +Included in every rank, Standard too — switch either one back on from the Interface page whenever you want
HKTweaks v5.5.12 October 2026

Your games on the home page

  • +Your games on the home page: what is tuned for each one and whether the Game Booster is on — one click opens the Games page
HKTweaks v5.5.02 October 2026

PC report

  • +"Copy my PC report" on the Fix it and PC health pages: Windows, CPU, graphics card + driver, RAM speed, motherboard + BIOS, disks, health issues, drivers to look at, games — one paste in your ticket and the staff knows your PC
  • !Nothing private inside: no MAC address, no PC name, no key
HKTweaks v5.4.02 October 2026

Game Booster

  • +Game Booster (Premium / Platinum): when one of your games starts, HKTweaks switches to your fastest power plan and frees standby RAM — when it closes, your power plan comes back
  • +Turn it on from the Games page or the Autopilot card on the home page — laptops on battery are left alone
  • ~The last boost is shown (game, power plan, RAM freed) and a toast tells you when it starts and stops
HKTweaks v5.3.02 October 2026

Games

  • +New Games page: HKTweaks finds your installed games (Steam, Epic, Riot, Battle.net, EA, Ubisoft, Roblox) — VALORANT, CS2, Fortnite, Apex, CoD, R6, Overwatch, Rust and more
  • +Per-game settings in one click (Premium / Platinum): high-performance graphics card and fullscreen optimizations off — real Windows settings, undone in one click
  • +The best in-game settings for each game (Reflex, raw input, rendering mode…) — free for everyone
  • +Add any game yourself with "Add a game"
  • ~Restore moved into the "…" menu of the dock to make room
HKTweaks v5.2.02 October 2026

Drivers

  • +New Drivers page: graphics, chipset, network, Wi-Fi, audio, Bluetooth and devices without a driver — checked in a few seconds, with the official place to get each one
  • +Install automatically (Premium / Platinum): the drivers Windows Update has for your exact PC, in one click — a restore point is made first
  • +Vendor tools in one click: Intel Driver & Support Assistant, NVIDIA App, AMD auto-detect — they keep your drivers up to date by themselves
  • !Graphics drivers from Windows Update are older than NVIDIA / AMD ones: they are never installed unless you tick them
HKTweaks v5.1.02 October 2026

Autopilot

  • +Autopilot on the home page: everything HKTweaks can do by itself, switched on or off in one place
  • +Keep my tweaks: Windows Update sometimes resets settings — HKTweaks notices and applies yours again (at launch, then every 6 h)
  • +Start with Windows: HKTweaks starts quietly in the tray so Autopilot and updates run on their own
  • +Reinstalled Windows or new PC? "Use my rank on this PC" moves your Premium / Platinum here in one click (once every 30 days)
  • +A "What's new" window after each update, and new tray actions: check my tweaks, check my rank
  • ~Opening HKTweaks twice no longer starts a second copy — it shows the one already running
HKTweaks v5.0.121 October 2026

Rank colours

  • ~Your rank badge now has the colours of your Discord role: Standard grey, Premium gold, Platinum cyan
  • ~The rank tags on locked tweaks use the same colours
HKTweaks v5.0.111 October 2026

HKTweaks look

  • +HKTweaks look: when you apply a tweak, your PC gets the HKTweaks wallpaper and the HKTweaks logo as your Windows account picture (Start menu, sign-in screen)
  • !Your own wallpaper and account picture are saved first — Settings › Automation › HKTweaks look OFF (or Undo all) puts them back exactly
HKTweaks v5.0.1030 September 2026

Rank unlocks instantly

  • +Got Premium or Platinum on Discord while the app is open? The locked tweaks unlock right away — no restart needed
  • +New "Check my rank" button on the home page and in the unlock window
  • ~The app also re-checks your rank by itself when you come back to its window
  • ~The unlock window now shows the right text for your current rank
  • ~A short connection drop no longer switches your rank back to Standard until the next launch
HKTweaks v5.0.930 September 2026

More in the free rank

  • +Standard (free) now has 46 tweaks (+10): 5 for your connection (TCP window scaling, faster retransmit, Selective ACK, Path-MTU, Ethernet power saving off)
  • +…and 5 for your PC and games: Game Mode, background capture service off, Game Bar tips off, taskbar thumbnails out of GPU memory, larger mouse / keyboard buffer
  • ~Premium now counts 131 tweaks (it includes everything in Standard), Platinum still has all 304
  • !Only risk-free tweaks were added — nothing touches your boot settings or your graphics driver
HKTweaks29 September 2026

One app — your rank is your role

  • !The old apps are retired: Heiko Tweaker, Heiko NIC, Heiko Free and Heiko Optimizer 4 no longer work — open a ticket and we give you the new HKTweaks
  • +HKTweaks is now ONE app with 3 ranks: Standard (free), Premium and Platinum
  • +Your rank = your role on this server: log in with Discord, no key to type. Already a customer? You kept your rank as a role
  • +Standard (free): 36 risk-free tweaks + every tool (Fix it, Debloat, Cleaner, 108 apps, profiles, PC diagnostic, restore points)
  • +Premium: 123 tweaks + the BIOS guide · Platinum: all 304 tweaks + the network tools
  • +Free access (invite 5 people) now gives HKTweaks at the Standard rank
  • ~Color Tuner and OS Custom keep their license keys
HKTweaks v5.0.829 September 2026

Apply menu fixed

  • ~The "Apply tweaks" menu no longer hides behind the tweak cards
  • +Redone in the HKTweaks style: a risk dot and the number of tweaks for each level, "Already applied" when there is nothing left
  • +"Create a restore point first" right inside the menu
  • ~The menu now closes every time you click outside of it (or press Esc)
HKTweaks v5.0.729 September 2026

New PC health page

  • +PC health redone: a clear verdict and score, and what needs your attention comes first
  • +Every problem now says what it means and what to do, with its one-click repair (or a button to the BIOS guide)
  • +All checks grouped by theme: anti-cheat & security, stability, storage, drivers & power
  • ~Correct tweak counts everywhere (Premium 123, Platinum 304)
HKTweaks v5.0.629 September 2026

New look

  • +New typeface everywhere (Geist, built into the app — same look on every PC)
  • +Page titles: the highlighted word is now in HKTweaks blue instead of italic
  • +Home page: the bottom bar hides away — move your mouse to the bottom edge to bring it back
  • ~Check boxes, drop-downs and scrollbars redone in the HKTweaks style (Debloat, Applications, Settings)
  • ~Category names no longer touch their tweak count
HKTweaks v5.0.528 September 2026

BIOS guide

  • +New BIOS page (Premium & Platinum): detects your motherboard (MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte, ASRock, laptops…), your BIOS version and the key to enter it
  • +Checks from Windows what matters: XMP / EXPO memory profile (compares your RAM speed with the speed the kit is sold for), Resizable BAR, Secure Boot, TPM, virtualization, UEFI mode, BIOS age
  • +Shows WHERE each setting is on YOUR board brand, plus a "Restart into BIOS" button
  • !HKTweaks never changes your BIOS by itself — safe settings only, you stay in control
  • +Real app icons in Debloat (preinstalled apps and startup apps)
  • ~The Network button of the dock opens the network tools again (it opened the Network tweaks)
HKTweaks v5.0.428 September 2026

Automatic updates fixed

  • ~In-app updates now really install: the installer starts, finishes, and HKTweaks reopens by itself
  • ~Before this version, "Install update" could just close the app without updating — sorry about that
  • !On 5.0.2 or older: download 5.0.4 ONCE with your private link (/mykeys › Download) and run it — your settings and tweaks are kept. After that, every update installs itself
HKTweaks v5.0.328 September 2026

Fix it, Debloat, Restore

  • +New "Fix it" page: 21 one-click repairs — no internet, Wi-Fi drops, no sound, microphone, Bluetooth, printer, webcam, controller, Xbox / Game Pass, launchers & anti-cheat, Microsoft Store, black screen in games, PC running hot, search, notifications, Win+V, Windows Update, frozen taskbar, clock, Def
  • +Each repair only puts the Windows defaults back — "What it does" shows every step before you click
  • +New "Debloat" page: remove preinstalled Microsoft apps (News, Clipchamp, Solitaire, Teams…), turn startup apps on/off, switch off Copilot / Recall / Click to Do
  • +New "Restore" page: System Protection switch and all your restore points, restore in two clicks
  • +Brand-new loading screen showing what HKTweaks is really doing (Discord, rank, tweaks, network tools)
  • ~Settings redesigned as clear rows · new dock with a "More" menu and a profile menu (rank, add a key, sign out)
HKTweaks v5.0.228 September 2026

Automatic updates

  • +The app now updates ITSELF: new versions download in the background and install silently, then HKTweaks restarts on its own
  • +A 15-second notice lets you install now or later ("Later" = installed when you close the app)
  • ~Never during a task: the update waits until the current tweak, cleaning or network optimisation is finished
  • ~Every update is checked (digital fingerprint) before it runs — a damaged download is never installed
  • !One last manual step to get this version: Settings › Install update. After that, you never have to do it again
HKTweaks v5.0.128 September 2026

Ranks = Discord roles, accounts, safer catalogue

  • +Your rank now comes from your Discord ROLES on HKTweaks (Standard / Premium / Platinum) — a key you link gives you its role automatically
  • +HKTweaks account: log in with Discord, or create an account with e-mail + password + username — Discord stays required at every launch
  • !You must be on the HKTweaks Discord server to use the app
  • !A paid rank works on ONE PC per Discord account — new PC? open a ticket (Reset Key / HWID)
  • −34 tweaks removed for safety: GPU driver settings (power gating, forced clocks, TDR, interrupt priority, overlays), CPU idle / 100 % lock / max boost / Spectre mitigations off, boot timer switches — anything that could cause a blue screen or stress your CPU / GPU
  • ~Already applied one of them? It shows up with a red "Removed" badge until you switch it off (or Settings › Undo all)
HKTweaks v5.0.028 September 2026

HKTweaks 5 — one app for everything

  • +One app with 3 ranks: Standard (free), Premium (the Tweaker catalogue) and Platinum (everything: 338 tweaks + network tools)
  • +Your rank comes from the license linked to your Discord account — log in with Discord and everything opens by itself
  • +The network optimizer (ex Heiko NIC) is built in: ping, speed test, DNS benchmark, one-click optimize and restore
  • +Brand new interface: "Welcome back" home, categories on the left, bottom dock, big clear pages
  • +Locked tweaks are shown with the rank that unlocks them — add a key right from the app
  • !Keys you already own (HKTweaks, Tweaker, NIC) keep working and are linked to your Discord account automatically
  • !A license only works on the PC it is bound to — a different PC gets Standard (reset your key in /mykeys or with a ticket)
  • ~Tweaks you applied stay removable even if you lose a rank (Settings › Undo all)
Discord bots27 September 2026

  • +/tiktok — HKTweaks on TikTok: the live (title, viewers, Watch button) when it is on, the profile otherwise
  • +Every TikTok live is now announced automatically on the server the moment it starts
  • ~Cleaner logs with new blue icons (staff side)
  • !Downloads are now private: your download link is in /mykeys, in your license DM and in the customer area — it only works with an active license
HKTweaks v4.2.327 September 2026

Hotfix

  • ~Settings › "Undo all" now really undoes EVERYTHING that is active on your PC — including tweaks applied by an older version, by the old Tweaker, or still active after "Reset all toggles"
  • +After "Undo all" the app checks again and tells you by name if a tweak is still active
  • !Black screen or unstable PC after optimizing? Settings › Undo all, then restart — and open a ticket if it persists
